David Valadao’s First Ad Pushes “Bipartisan” Lie

David Valadao launched his first ad, boldly claiming to be a “bipartisan leader” who works with both parties and is “fighting for the Central Valley.”

But Valley voters have heard this lie before.

REALITY: Valadao has long lost his independent streak. This Congress, he has voted with Donald Trump 98% of the time while Valley families have paid the price.

Just look at his record:

  • Valadao’s deciding vote put nearly $90 million in district hospital funding at risk.
  • Valadao even sided with President Trump on his deeply unpopular effort to end birthright citizenship, defending “making some changes” to a constitutional guarantee that generations of Americans have relied on.

Throughout it all, Valadao has defended these votes by saying he was “vot[ing his] conscience,” and that’s all just in the past year and a half.

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“Central Valley voters are tired of heartless politicians who say whatever is politically convenient at home, only to vote the opposite way in Washington. While David Valadao answers to no one but his party bosses and special interests, Randy Villegas is focused on actually fighting for the people of the Central Valley.”
