Scarier Scenario: Zeldin’s endorsement of Trump with the nuclear codes
While No-Show Congressman Lee Zeldin’s DC allies are laughably try to scare voters in a new ad with explosions and ISIS flags, the scarier scenario is that Zeldin endorsed that idea of Trump near the nuclear codes.
While Trump bragged that he “love[ed] war in a certain way,” Zeldin praised his rhetoric as “candid, brutally honest, sometimes politically incorrect.”
While Republican national security experts warned about Trump’s dangerous rhetoric that makes our country less safe, Zeldin earlier said that supporting Trump was an “easy decision.”
While Trump said that we need to be “unpredictable” with nuclear weapons, Zeldin endorsed him for president.
That’s in addition to Zeldin blowing off ISIS and Syria-related hearings in Congress.
“While Trump was recklessly bragging about declaring war and using nuclear weapons, No-Show Congressman Lee Zeldin thought that he was fit for president. That should worry Long Island voters about their security and safety,” said Bryan Lesswing. “By supporting Donald Trump’s divisive and dangerous rhetoric, Lee Zeldin puts politics above our safety and refuses to put Long Island’s security, let alone the country’s security, first.”
Reminder: Even after video surfaced of Donald Trump bragging about sexually assaulting women, Lee Zeldin still supports Donald Trump for President.
