Scary Scott Perry is being rewarded by his GOP colleagues for his mouth-frothing extremism. Last night, Perry was elected the next chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, a group of far-right House Republicans who have been holding the GOP hostage for years.
This is a perfect fit for Perry, who has put radical partisanship over Pennsylvania for years, resulting in local press calling for his resignation and voters calling him a “national embarrassment” to PA-10. The suburban Steve King can finally be open about who he serves in Washington, the most repugnant group of lawmakers in America.
