DCCC Adds Antonio Delgado (NY-19) and Betsy Rader (OH-14) to Red to Blue

DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján today announced the tenth round of candidates on the DCCC’s highly competitive Red to Blue program. Fifty-six candidates have now earned a spot on Red to Blue by surpassing aggressive goals for grassroots engagement, local support, campaign organization and fundraising. Beyond their demonstrated abilities to build a winning campaign infrastructure, these candidates have strong records of service and deep ties to the communities they aim to represent.

“Antonio Delgado has the strength, integrity and dedication to give this community the voice it deserves,” DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján. “A tireless advocate for the families of the Hudson Valley and the Catskills, Antonio will fight for affordable, quality health care, good-paying jobs, and to create an economy that works for all. Antonio always gets the job done, and it’s why he has built one of the strongest, grassroots-driven campaigns in the nation.”

From running a program to help abused children, to representing individuals who face employment discrimination and sexual harassment, Betsy Rader has dedicated herself to empowering people and giving those a voice who need it most,” Luján continued. “Betsy is using her passion for helping people and desire to make her community a better place in order to build a strong grassroots campaign that will make the race for Ohio’s 14th District competitive.”

Red to Blue is a highly competitive and battle-tested DCCC program that arms top-tier candidates with organizational and fundraising support to help them continue to run strong campaigns. Additionally, the DCCC provides strategic guidance, staff resources, candidate trainings, and more.
