| Today, the DCCC is expanding House Democrats’ Districts in Play for the 2026 election cycle to include Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District, signaling Democrats’ readiness to reclaim the House majority by widening the battlefield and working to defeat Lauren Boebert.
The DCCC’s Districts in Play are competitive districts held by vulnerable Republicans across the country that will determine the House majority.
The addition of CO-04 to the DCCC’s Districts in Play sends the clear message that Democrats know Colorado voters are souring on Boebert’s wildly unpopular record of raising costs, attacking affordable health care, and hurting working families.
“Lauren Boebert is more interested in her own political self-promotion and chasing national attention than actually delivering for Colorado families. Coloradans want a representative focused on lowering costs, not someone who treats public service like a self-serving media tour. That’s why they’ll fire Boebert this November,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene.
Democrats’ consistent overperformance in special elections this cycle is further proof that we have a path to victory this year to unseat Boebert and win CO-04. |
