| Today, the DCCC is expanding House Democrats’ Districts in Play for the 2026 election cycle to include New York’s 21st Congressional District, signaling Democrats’ readiness to reclaim the House majority by widening the battlefield and focusing on this newly competitive seat in New York.
The DCCC’s Districts in Play includes competitive open seats across the country that will determine the House Majority.
NY-21’s addition to the DCCC’s Districts in Play sends the clear message that Democrats know North Country voters are souring on D.C. Republicans’ wildly unpopular record of raising costs, attacking affordable health care, and hurting working families.
“Anthony Constantino is a self-dealer who cares more about lining his own pockets than fighting for hardworking families. When Constantino isn’t using his campaign to bankroll advertisements for his own business, he’s pledging total loyalty to the GOP plan of reckless tariffs that jack up costs on North Country families and health care cuts that put rural hospitals at risk. The DCCC will spend the coming months making sure that come November, New York’s 21st Congressional District elects a representative that finally puts them first,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene.
Democrats’ consistent overperformance in special elections this cycle is further proof that we have a path to victory this year to beat Anthony Constantino and win NY-21. |
