DCCC and House Democrats Across the Country See Record-Breaking Volunteer Turnout Amid Increased Enthusiasm

To mark 100 days until the election and kick-off the final sprint in the race for the House majority, volunteers mobilized across the country to knock on over 81,000 doors and complete 1,500 volunteer shifts in battleground districts during the DCCC’s “100 Days Out Week of Action.” Additionally, organizers and volunteers made over 78,000 dials in the same week.

During the Week of Action, the DCCC saw a 58% increase in volunteers and a whopping 196% increase in door-knocking attempts from the Committee’s previous Week of Action in June.

This outreach represents the DCCC’s highest number of doors knocked in a single week so far this cycle.

DCCC Executive Director Julie Merz:
“Organizing wins elections, and House Democrats are ensuring we are harnessing the enthusiasm folks across the country are feeling right now on our way back to reclaiming the House Majority this November. Voters can see the contrast between House Republicans’ extremism and chaos and Democrats’ results-oriented leadership. This energy and excitement will continue our historic momentum on the ground, power our candidates and Frontliners, and keep us on track to reclaim the majority.”
