Today, the DCCC announced it raised $7.6 million in October, bringing the total raised year-to-date for the committee to $99.8 million, with $46.8 million cash-on-hand. The report comes as voters in elections across the country turned out in record numbers for a non-presidential year to overwhelmingly reject Republicans in New Jersey, Virginia, California and Pennsylvania – previewing the public appetite to deliver Democrats the House Majority in the midterms. New national polling released this week also shows that “Democrats have [their] biggest advantage for control of Congress in 8 years,” with a lead of 14 points on the generic congressional ballot.
“Prices are rising across the board and the public is souring on House Republicans’ failure to improve the lives of everyday Americans,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene. “Earlier this month, we saw voters coast to coast send a resounding message rejecting the Republican agenda that has raised costs on everything. United behind the leadership of Hakeem Jeffries, House Democrats have the better message, stronger candidates, and public opinion on our side – and we’re poised to re-take the majority in 2026.”
