Today, the DCCC announced it raised $6.8 million in July, thanks to the leadership of Leader Hakeem Jeffries and the entire House Democratic Caucus. The DCCC has raised $73.9 million this year-to-date, again beating off-year presidential cycle totals.
“As MAGA extremists in Congress push us ever-closer to a government shutdown with their incessant attacks on abortion access, renewed efforts to defund federal law enforcement, and continued dysfunction in Congress, it’s more important than ever that Democrats retake the Majority in 2024,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene. “Thanks to the tireless work from Leader Hakeem Jeffries and our unified Caucus, we have the momentum. Voters are tired of House Republicans’ dangerous MAGA agenda, and the DCCC will continue our work to hold them accountable for their extremism and brinkmanship.”
The total raised by the DCCC this year represents the most the Committee has ever raised in an off-year presidential cycle. The DCCC now has $36.9 million cash-on-hand with no debt.
