Today, the DCCC announced it raised $8.1 million in August, thanks to the leadership of Leader Hakeem Jeffries and the entire House Democratic Caucus. This total bests the Committee’s previous August record in a presidential off-year.
“The American people want responsible governance and real results, not dysfunction or the looming threat of a MAGA-manufactured government shutdown,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene. “Thanks to the hard work of Leader Jeffries and a united House Democratic Caucus, we are well on our way to taking back the House so that we can deliver tangible results for working families and build up the middle class.”
The total raised by the DCCC this year represents the most the Committee has ever raised in an off-year presidential cycle. The DCCC now has $40 million cash-on-hand.
