Powered by fired up supporters throughout the country who are eager to take back the House, DCCC surpassed amount raised from May of the last off-year
The DCCC announced it raised $8.3 million in May for a total year-to-date of $53.3 million raised. The DCCC now has over $32 million cash-on-hand, and is debt-free.
“The American people want leaders who will lower prices and make it easier to get ahead. House Republicans have failed to deliver on their central campaign promise, instead pushing a tax scam that gives trillions in tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and making everyday Americans pay for it with massive cuts to health care and food programs,” said DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene. “Voters are ready for a change, and to make Hakeem Jeffries the next Speaker of the House. From every corner of the country, we’re seeing support grow for House Democrats’ efforts to protect health care access and build an economy that puts working people first – and that’s why Democrats will retake the majority next November.”
