| The DCCC’s Weekend of Action brought more than 2,200 volunteer canvassers out to knock more than 91,000 doors in the 52 districts, and saw especially high turnout and excitement with base voters in NY-17, TX-34, CA-22, VA-01, WA-03, and NJ-07.
In a sign of growing enthusiasm, the August Weekend of Action doubled doors knocked from the committee’s July 100 Days Out Weekend of Action, and more than quadrupled the doors knocked from the committee’s June Weekend of Action. The rapid growth signals that grassroots voters are excited about our Democratic candidates and are eager to hold Republicans accountable for their cost-raising agenda.
REMINDER: Earlier this year, the DCCC launched The Field Margin, our earliest-ever battlefield wide direct voter contact program focused on arming everyday volunteers with the skills necessary to help mobilize voters across the country.
DCCC Spokesperson Nebeyatt Betre:
“We’re seeing battleground voters in key districts grow more and more eager to elect House Democrats and hold vulnerable Republicans accountable for raising their costs as we get closer to Election Day. Thanks to the DCCC’s robust organizing efforts, thousands of volunteers are already reaching tens of thousands of voters face to face, and these efforts will be key to flipping these seats and electing a House Democratic majority in November.”
