DCCC Breaks Record Again with Strongest Off-Year Q3

Today, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee posted another record-breaking quarter, raising $27.4 million in Q3, nearly $6 million more than the Committee raised in Q3 of 2017. This record breaking third quarter follows the DCCC’s strongest off-year six months in its history.

This quarter’s strong showing is powered by the DCCC’s robust grassroots support, with over $14 million raised through small dollar donations and an average online gift of just $16.

“Now more than ever, we must work to protect and expand our fragile House Majority. That means keeping up our record-setting pace, continuing our work to engage with a broad coalition of voters across this country, and fighting for the common sense priorities of the American people. The stakes have never been higher and we will not let up,” said DCCC Chairwoman Cheri Bustos. “While President Trump and Republicans shroud themselves in scandal and throw our country even further into chaos, Democrats are focused on standing up for everyday Americans by bringing down the cost of health care, creating jobs, and rebuilding our nation’s infrastructure.”

The DCCC begins the final quarter of 2019 with $36.2 million on hand, $6 million more than it held at this point in 2017.
