Missayr Boker, Deputy Executive Director for Campaigns
Missayr Boker is an experienced political strategist and was the first Black woman and person of color in history to serve as Executive Director of the DCCC’s Independent Expenditure program, helping direct nearly $100 million of paid media in congressional districts across the country. Before running the DCCC IE, Missayr served as the Deputy Director of the DCCC’s Independent Expenditure program. And before joining the DCCC, she served as National Political Director for then-Sen. Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign where she oversaw the development and execution of the national and early state strategy to raise the candidate’s profile and build strong coalitions across the country. Missayr is also proud to have served in senior roles at NARAL Pro-Choice America and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee during the 2018 cycle helping Democrats pick up Senate seats in Alabama, Nevada and Arizona.
Tasha Cole, Deputy Executive Director for Stakeholder Engagement
Tasha Cole is a proven leader committed to advancing communities, opening doors of opportunity, and transforming the status quo. Affectionately known as the “Broker of People,” Tasha taps her vast network to solve intractable problems, advance multiculturalism and lead with empathy. Tasha started working with the Committee in 2020 as its first Chief Diversity Officer and served as Deputy Executive Director and Chief Diversity Officer for the DCCC in 2022. The DCCC’s approach to DEI is being adopted and replicated by other Democratic party structures and progressives organizations in the Democratic ecosystem. She has served for the past 4 years as Co-Chair for the Board of Directors for Running Start, and was previously the Vice President of Resource Development for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation. Her political experiences include working on several defining moments in political history including three presidential campaigns, five political conventions, two statewide ballot initiatives and as deputy campaign manager for a U.S. Senate campaign in Florida. Tasha served for nearly a decade on Capitol Hill as a Chief of Staff, Senior Advisor and Communications Director for two Members of Congress from Florida.
Michelle Tovar, National Finance Director
Michelle Tovar has been with the DCCC since 2019, originally serving as the West Finance Director and most recently as the Deputy National Finance Director. Prior to joining the DCCC, Tovar worked on the Major Gifts team at EMILY’s List in addition to fundraising roles for some of the nation’s most competitive Congressional races. As a Nevada native and a daughter of Colombian immigrants, Tovar served on the finance teams for her home state Reps. Susie Lee and Steven Horsford.
Jackie Forte-Mackay, Chief Financial Officer
An essential member of the senior leadership team, Jackie will continue on in her role as Chief Financial Officer. This will be her 15th cycle as CFO.
Elizabeth Ericson, Chief Analytics Officer
Entering her third cycle at the DCCC, Elizabeth previously served as Campaigns Targeting Director in 2022, when she led and managed the Regional Targeting Directors through a redistricting cycle, and as Southern Regional Targeting Director in 2020, when she worked on Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas races. A native of Blacksburg, VA and Newtown, CT, Elizabeth is a longtime gun violence prevention advocate and co-led the TX-06 Red to Blue race in 2018. Before entering politics, she worked in undergraduate admissions at her alma mater, Rice University.
Erik Ruselowski, Chief Operating Officer
Erik will continue on in his role as Chief Operating Officer, a position he held in the 2022 cycle. This is Erik’s fifth cycle at the DCCC having previously served as the Committee’s Deputy Chief Financial Officer.
Catherine Wall, Chief of Staff
Catherine Wall joins the DCCC as Chief of Staff after serving as the DCCC’s Deputy Chief of Staff & Chief Speechwriter during the 2022 cycle. Previously, she has worked on a Frontline House race and Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign in New Hampshire. She has a Masters of Public Policy from the University of Oxford and is originally from Massachusetts.
