DCCC Chair DelBene: “House Democrats are going to prosecute the case versus House Republicans and Republican candidates for their extremism”

DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene joined CNNMSNBCPBS, and Bloomberg this week to talk about Democrats’ momentum in the race for the House majority with just under 100 days until Election Day.

House Democrats are well-positioned to take back the House and are drawing a strong contrast between Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans’ extreme Project 2025 and our focus on lowering costs, defending reproductive rights, and investing in working families.

Hear more from Chair DelBene as she makes the case for a House Democratic majority in the final sprint to Election Day below:

PBS NewsHour:

“Our focus always has been on growing and strengthening the middle class, talking to people about the issues that they’re facing in their communities, making sure we’re addressing affordability, the cost of housing, of food, childcare, and making sure that we’re focused on opportunities for workers, not tax breaks for the wealthy and well-connected, which seems to be a top priority of Republicans.”

CNN’s News Central:

“Vice President Harris is going to prosecute the case versus Donald Trump, and House Democrats are going to prosecute the case versus House Republicans and Republican candidates across the country for their extremism. Folks want to see governance work. They want us to find solutions to the problems that Americans face. That’s what we’ve come to Congress to do. We’re going to elect more people who want to do that, take back the majority in the House, and work with President Harris to get that done.”

MSNBC’s Chris Jansing:

“Fundamentally, it’s about having people who can authentically represent their districts, talk about the issues that are important in their communities. So we are making sure that our candidates are in a strong position. They’ve been outraising Republicans, and we had a strong Q2 – not only for the DCCC, where we outraised our Republican counterparts – but all of our incumbents and candidates have outraised their Republican opponents. So we are in a strong position as we head towards November.”

Bloomberg Balance of Power:

“We’re going to play in every district where we have opportunities and we have 27 Red to Blue candidates who are running across the country doing an incredible job… We’re in a very strong position, and we’re going to win… in places like Alabama, Iowa, Nebraska, Montana, as well as New York and California… We have great candidates, great momentum, and people are supporting our efforts. So we’re going to get that message out, and we’re going to take back the House in November.”
