DCCC has raised nearly $63M more this cycle than at same point in 2016
Over $8.9M raised online in September
465k first time online donors this cycle
DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján today announced record-breaking September fundraising totaling nearly $22.2M. The committee raised a whopping $8.9M online in September with an average gift of $19over the course of the cycle.
Through September, the DCCC has raised nearly $229M total with over $86.7M coming from online donations. Reflecting the grassroots energy behind House Democrats, the DCCC has received online donations from 465k new donors and nearly $5.7M individual gifts of $200 or less through September.
Despite full Republican control of Washington, the DCCC has out-raised the NRCC nearly every month and by a massive amount this cycle.
“The DCCC’s historic fundraising and grassroots support combined with record candidate resources has allowed Democrats to share their records of service directly with voters and set the narrative early in key races,” said DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján. “Our strategic focus on small-dollar donations has allowed us to confront the unprecedented amount of dark outside Republican money flooding the airwaves and even put Republicans on their heels across an expansive battlefield.”
