Tonight, Bridget Fleming officially advanced to the general election as the party’s nominee in New York’s First Congressional District. DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement congratulating her:
“Bridget Fleming has already dedicated so much of her life and career to standing up for Long Island families. As a former prosecutor and Suffolk County legislator, Bridget has built a proven record as a leader in strengthening her community, lowering costs for working families and protecting our environment. She’s the champion Long Island needs in Congress right now, and I’m excited to work with Bridget from now until Election Day to expand our House majority and flip this district blue.”
