Today, Eric Sorensen won the Democratic primary in Illinois’ 17th Congressional District and will advance to the general election as the party’s nominee. DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement congratulating him:

Eric is a lifelong Illinoisan who has spent his career being guided by science and the truth as a meteorologist in Rockford and the Quad Cities.
