Tonight, Hillary Scholten won the Democratic primary in Michigan’s Third Congressional District. DCCC Chair Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement congratulating Hillary on her victory:
“Congratulations to Hillary Scholten on her primary victory tonight. Scholten has dedicated her life to public service – whether it be at the Department of Justice, as an attorney fighting for local small businesses, or as a deacon at her church. Tonight has proven that voters are eager to send Hillary Scholten to Congress to continue serving her community. Unlike her opponent, who is focused on the issues that divide us, Hillary will be a tireless fighter for all West Michiganders – and I look forward to serving with her Congress,” said DCCC Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney.
