Tonight, Jackie Gordon officially advanced to the general election as the party’s nominee in New York’s Second Congressional District. DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement congratulating her:
“Jackie Gordon has seen this fight before, so I know she is ready to take on Andrew Garbarino again in November. Jackie is a true public servant – whether it be in the Armed Forces as a military police officer, as a guidance counselor preparing students for economic opportunities, or as a Babylon Town Councilwoman helping serve military families. Unlike her opponent, she will be a tireless advocate for all Long Islanders, and offer voters in New York’s Second Congressional District the leadership they deserve.”
