Tonight, Kirsten Engel won the Democratic primary in Arizona’s 6th Congressional District and will advance to the general election as the party’s nominee. DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement congratulating her:
“A warm congratulations to Kirsten Engel on her victory. As an attorney, a legislator, and a mom, Kirsten Engel has always been on a mission to fight for working families and make sure our children have a chance to build a future and get ahead, and she’s the champion Arizonans need in Congress. Now, it’s all eyes on November. The DCCC looks forward to working with Kirsten from now until Election Day to keep this district in Democratic hands.”
