Yesterday, Rudy Salas won the primary in California’s 22nd Congressional District and will advance to the general election as Democrats’ nominee. DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement congratulating him:
“Through his years of leadership in the California Assembly, Rudy Salas proved he is a fighter for the Central Valley. Whether in Sacramento or Washington, Central Valley families have the utmost confidence that Rudy will be a representative voice for their interests.
“I extend a warm congratulations to Rudy for his primary win. From now until Election Day, the DCCC looks forward to working with Rudy to ensure the residents of California’s 22nd District have the leader they deserve in Congress.”
