Tonight, Tony Vargas won the Democratic primary in Nebraska’s Second Congressional District and will take on vulnerable Congressman Don Bacon this November.
DCCC Chair Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement congratulating Vargas on his victory:

As a former public school teacher, school board member, and state legislator, Tony has spent his career helping hardworking families get ahead. After years of out-of-touch representation from Don Bacon, Nebraskans deserve a leader like Tony Vargas who will fight every day for workers, families, and small businesses across the district. We look forward to working with Tony Vargas this cycle to flip this seat blue.” |
