DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene released the following statement after House Democrats once again delivered the votes to pass a bipartisan continuing resolution to keep the government open:
“Once again, House Democrats ensured our government stayed open for business as MAGA extremists and chaos in the House Republican Conference continue to threaten our economy, working families, and small businesses.
“Make no mistake: jumping from potential shutdown to potential shutdown is no way to run the government. The never-ending cycle of extremism and brinkmanship is the dangerous consequence of House Republicans’ chaos and dysfunction. Voters are exhausted with their failure to govern, and House Democrats will win the majority back in November and get the People’s House back to work for working families.” |
