“Best wishes to families across the country celebrating the Lunar New Year today. As we enter the Year of the Dragon, we celebrate the incredible contributions of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities to the fabric of our nation and renew our efforts to advance equity and opportunity for all.
“On the campaign trail and in the halls of Congress, House Democrats are deeply committed to engaging the AANHPI community. President Biden and House Democrats have taken historic steps to confront the surge of anti-Asian violence and discrimination, reduced poverty, bolstered small businesses, and invested in AANHPI communities with the bipartisan infrastructure law, American Rescue Plan, and the Inflation Reduction Act.
