| DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene released the following statement celebrating the Fourth of July:
“For 250 years, Americans have been united in a dream that the United States is a country that offers the opportunity of a better life. This 250th anniversary is a testament to the principles that have taken us this far, but in a much larger sense, it is an affirmation of the American spirit.
“This country is still an experiment that requires us all to remain vigilant and committed to the work necessary as we work towards our shared goal of a more perfect union that grants life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to all Americans.
“Our fight to win back the House in November is about uplifting all Americans and making it easier for families to get by. That’s what we’re fighting for, and that’s the promise we make to voters.
“On behalf of House Democrats and our candidates across the country, I wish everyone a Happy Fourth of July.” |
