DCCC Chair Statement Celebrating Women’s History Month

The DCCC released the following statement from DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene celebrating Women’s History Month:

“Every Women’s History Month we pay tribute to the fortitude of generations of women, whose countless contributions and sacrifices have built a more equitable country. While reflecting on the shattered glass ceilings and historic accomplishments, it’s critical we recommit ourselves to the work and progress that lies ahead – not just in this month, but every day of the year.

“Democrats stand united, hand-in-hand, ready to restore reproductive freedom that MAGA Republicans ripped away, ready to secure equal pay and unleash opportunities held hostage by systemic bias and challenges, and ready to build upon the record number of women serving in the 118th Congress. Women are the backbone of our country’s spirit, families, and accomplishments, and we will always fight to build a greater future for all women and girls.”

Democrats have a historic number of women serving in the 118th Congress.
