DCCC Chair Statement On Hispanic Heritage Month

Today, DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene released the following statement honoring the start of Hispanic Heritage Month:

“During Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the innumerable contributions by Hispanic communities to our country, community, and culture. Hispanic Americans represent diverse, vibrant, and growing parts of our country, enriching our nation’s tapestry and empowering our success.

“House Democrats remain committed to fighting every day to improve the lives of hardworking Hispanic Americans, ensuring quality education, affordable health care, good-paying jobs, safety for themselves and their family, and the opportunity to achieve the American dream.

“When we re-take the House majority, Democrats will make certain our economy works for everyone, working to build a rising, thriving middle class accessible to the Hispanic community and each and every American.”
