DCCC Chair Statement On Hispanic Heritage Month

Today, DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene released the following statement honoring the start of Hispanic Heritage Month:

“Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to honor and celebrate the indispensable contributions of our Latino communities across the nation. From powering our local economies and serving in our armed forces, to leading in public office and driving innovation, Latinos shape our country every day.

“House Democrats remain committed to fighting for the priorities that matter most to Latino families: lowering costs, expanding health care, safety, and creating economic opportunity.

“As we celebrate the strength, resilience, culture, and achievements of the Latino community, we are proud to champion policies that reflect those values and to deliver real results for every family across America.”
