| Following the Missouri Supreme Court’s decision to upend decades of precedent, DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene released the below statement:
“Missourians have made it clear they hate Jefferson City Republicans’ desperate attempts to cling to power. Instead of trying to lower costs, keep communities safe, or grow the economy, Missouri Republicans worked around the clock to disenfranchise Black and brown voters in Kansas City and rig an election before a single vote was cast.
“Missourians have a clear track record of pushing back against abuses of power. Come November, voters will hold Republicans up and down the ballot accountable for setting in motion a cynical plan meant to silence Missourians.” |
