DCCC Chairman Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement on the retirement of Rep. Ted Deutch (FL-22):
“I want to extend my gratitude to Rep. Ted Deutch for his two decades of public service to South Florida and our country. From the Florida Senate to the U.S. House, Rep. Deutch has served his constituents admirably, leading on some of the most important issues in Congress as Chairman of the House Ethics Committee and senior member of the House Judiciary and House Foreign Affairs committees. Rep. Deutch has also been a stalwart advocate for the Jewish community and combating antisemitism. I have no doubt that Rep. Deutch will continue to use his platform to lead on these issues in his next chapter and wish him the very best.”
