Today, DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene issued the following statement celebrating our nation’s veterans:
“Our nation owes an incredible debt of gratitude to the patriots who have stepped forward to defend our freedoms, liberty, and way of life. On Veterans Day, we salute the men and women who have answered our country’s call to serve. We are freer and safer because of their service.
“Let us all remain committed to serving our veterans as well as they served us. Collectively, we must support our veterans and their families when they return to civilian life, and ensure they have the resources, services and benefits they have earned. From providing them with quality health care, to affordable housing, and the tools they need to find a rewarding career – we must work to ensure veterans share in the opportunity and economic prosperity they have helped to defend.”
