As leading members of both political parties offer contrasting visions on immigration reform today, DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján released the following statement:
“Today, voters will see a stark contrast between Republicans and Democrats on immigration. Hillary Clinton will smartly embrace comprehensive immigration reform, while Republicans continue to back outrageous efforts to revoke birthright citizenship and oppose common sense reforms, like the DREAM Act. This won’t fool the Latino community in 2016; they know that Democrats have their back.”
