DCCC Chairman Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney released the following statement on reporting that the Supreme Court of The United States will gut Roe v Wade:
“After decades hellbent on banning abortion in all 50 states, Republicans now plan to ban abortion nationwide — and if this report is true, SCOTUS just gave them license to do it.
“This would have dire consequences for women and their families. These decisions should be solely between women and their doctors.
”The central choice in the 2022 elections will be about who will defend our freedom. Democrats will fight like hell to protect them; Republicans will rip them away.”
