DCCC Chairman Rep. Maloney released the following statement after Senate Republicans voted to block legislation to protect Americans’ voting rights:
“Voting is the foundation of our democracy. It’s shameful for the GOP to continue to put up barriers to the ballot box while furthering Trump’s Big Lie about the safety of our elections. While Republicans clearly think their best way back to power is suppressing and gerrymandering their way to a majority, Democrats are committed to the fight of protecting and expanding voting rights for all Americans.”
