Today, Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairwoman Cheri Bustos announced Congressman Adam Schiff will serve as the National Frontline Finance Chair. In this critically important role, Schiff will help Democrats in competitive seats secure the resources needed to win in 2020. 44 Democratic Members of Congress have been elevated to participate in an aggressive Frontline program, which will serve as a firewall for defending the New Democratic Majority.
“While our fundraising efforts are off to an incredible start at the DCCC, I know having Rep. Schiff serve as the National Frontline Finance Chair will only further strengthen our work to fortify and expand our new Democratic Majority,” said DCCC Chairwoman Cheri Bustos. “I’m excited to have Adam on the DCCC’s senior leadership team as we build on our landmark successes in 2018 and take the fight to Washington Republicans.”
“2018 brought one of the largest new classes of Democrats into the Congress, many of whom defeated Republican incumbents. Our Majority hinges on these and other Frontline Members winning reelection in 2020 and I am incredibly proud to work with Chairwoman Bustos and the DCCC in building a Majority that lasts well into the future,” said Rep. Adam Schiff. “As the National Frontline Finance Chair for 2020, I am determined to harness grassroots energy from across the country to ensure our Frontline members have the resources and support they need to succeed.”
The DCCC’s Frontline Program is designed to provide Democratic Members of Congress from the most competitive seats with access to strategic analysis, campaign guidance and fundraising prioritization to ensure they have both the resources and cutting edge information they need to execute effective reelection campaigns.
