DCCC Chairwoman Cheri Bustos released the following statement on the passing of Associate Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“Tonight, our nation lost one of its most steadfast champions for justice and equality. Justice Ginsburg dedicated her life to protecting the rights of women and oppressed communities. Her loss is devastating – made all the more tragic by its timing on one of Judaism’s holiest days. May her memory be a blessing to her loved ones and the hundreds of millions of Americans who benefited from her unwavering commitment to justice. We will miss her dearly.”
