DCCC’s $12M haul largest April in committee history
Powered by hundreds of thousands of eager grassroots donors making an average contribution of $18, the DCCC will report raising $12.2 million in April 2021. This marks the DCCC’s best April fundraising numbers ever.
“Democrats have been clear in our priorities: We’re focused on delivering significant relief to Americans so we can crush the COVID-19 pandemic,” said DCCC Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney. “With Speaker Pelosi’s leadership, Democrats in Congress put cash in millions of pockets and got vaccines into millions of arms. While Republicans continue to fight one another over conspiracies and lies, the American people recognize that Democrats are fighting for them.”
The DCCC outraised the NRCC in April by $1 million. In the middle of the second quarter, the DCCC is debt free and has $32.1 million cash on hand, nearly three times the amount the DCCC held at this point in April of 2019.
