DCCC HAULS IN $11 MILLION IN AUGUST – OUTRAISES NRCC BY NEARLY $4 MILLION

“From landing top recruits in districts where we’ve never competed, to repeatedly outraising the competition, the DCCC is working hard to create opportunity and take advantage of the national environment. House Republicans continue to put their party loyalty over what’s best for the country by standing with Donald Trump, and we’ll fight for the resources necessary to make that clear to voters,” said DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján.

August: The DCCC raised nearly $11 million in August alone, compared to the NRCC’s reported $6.7 million. Last month, the DCCC outraised the NRCC by nearly $7.5 million.

Cash on Hand: The DCCC now has more than $63 million Cash on Hand. This is notably higher than the Committee’s $54.4 million Cash on Hand in 2014 and $40 million Cash on Hand in 2012.

The DCCC carries no debt.

Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Chairman Ben Ray Luján have been traveling the country to fundraise, to great success among grassroots and major donors.

DCCC DIGITAL & GRASSROOTS SUCCESS:

• Grassroots supporters have dug deep to change Congress and elect House Democrats.
• DCCC’s grassroots online fundraising program brought in over $5.16 million in August.
• The average gift was $25.
• The DCCC has brought in over 3.36 million grassroots gifts($200 or less) this cycle.

MEMBERS SUCCESS:

• Unlike the NRCC, which relies heavily on massive transfers from just a few Members of the Republican leadership, House Democrats and supporters are united and rallying together in huge numbers to support the DCCC and its mission. As of August, 165 members– 86% of the Democratic Caucus – had paid dues.
