Mobile Billboard Will Display Explosive Revelations From Voicemail
While Donald Trump rallies with Van Drew, the two will be greeted by a mobile billboard reminding voters that Jefferson Van Drew is a fraud who is only loyal to himself.
The billboard displays Van Drew’s words, captured in a now infamous voicemail, in which he expressed his desire to beat Donald Trump in November.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: In a voicemail obtained by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Republican Jefferson Van Drew emphatically declared that he would not vote for Donald Trump less than one month after pledging his undying loyalty to the now impeached President.
Van Drew clearly identifies himself in the voicemail and says of Trump:
“I haven’t voted for him, I didn’t support him, I will not vote for him.” Van Drew also says he wants to “just beat [Trump] and move on” and reiterates “I’d want to just beat him in a normal election.”
“Jefferson Van Drew has been exposed as a fraud and no amount of pomp and circumstance can change that. Van Drew will not be able to escape his words tonight—they’ll follow him wherever he goes,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett.
