DCCC IE Makes Second Round Of 2022 Cycle TV Reservations, More Than $24 Million To Push Message in Critical Markets

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s Independent Expenditure (IE) has reserved an additional $24.2 million in broadcast TV and cable ad reservations. This is the committee’s second major ad reservation of the 2022 cycle, it locks in the lowest costs possible to make the best use of DCCC resources.

“Democrats are taking action to ensure the American people have a chance to hear from House Democrats about the stakes of this election and the dangers of MAGA Republicans in the most critical battleground districts across the country,” said Tim Persico, DCCC Executive Director. 

As with previous election cycles, DCCC IE may make additional reservations and changes to reservations as the cycle continues.

  • Bakersfield, CA: $1.2 million total ($315,000 in Spanish language)

  • Fresno, CA: $2.6 million total ($818,000 in Spanish language)

  • Sacramento, CA: $990,000

  • San Diego, CA: $1.5 million

  • Denver, CO: $1.6 million

  • Hartford, CT: $660,000

  • Champaign-Springfield, IL: $420,000

  • St. Louis, IL: $410,000

  • Kansas City, KS: $940,000

  • Bangor, ME: $236,000

  • Portland, ME: $410,000

  • Presque Isle, ME: $70,000

  • Detroit, MI: $1.2 million

  • Grand Rapids, MI: $1.6 million

  • Lansing, MI: $1.5 million

  • Greenville, NC: $345,000

  • Raleigh, NC: $1.3 million

  • New York: $64,000

  • Eugene, OR: $360,000

  • Portland, OR: $3.45 million

  • San Antonio, TX: $2 million total ($445,000 in Spanish language)
