Targeted ads will highlight swing district Democrats who voted against Washington Republicans’ latest attacks on our health care
After Democrats voted overwhelmingly to protect Americans’ access to affordable health care, the DCCC immediately highlighted swing district Democrats’ stand on the side of the middle-class by launching targeted ads on Facebook across Frontline districts. These ads praise Democrats across the country for being a check on Republican efforts to gut health care.
This overwhelming vote by Democrats comes in response to new efforts by Republicans to, yet again, overturn the Affordable Care Act – a reckless move that would raise premiums, institute an age tax on older Americans, and eliminate protections for 130 million Americans with pre-existing conditions.
“Yet again, Republicans are attacking Americans’ health care and jeopardizing access to affordable coverage for millions. But while Republicans keep on attacking Americans’ health care, Democrats voted to condemn this latest attempt to undermine protections for pre-existing conditions. This targeted ad campaign will remind voters that Democrats stand on their side and will fight for them, while Republicans keep trying to raise premiums and take away protections from people with pre-existing conditions,” said DCCC spokesperson Cole Leiter.
