DCCC Launches Billboard Calling Out Steve Chabot’s Extreme Stance on Abortion

For years, Steve Chabot has worked to turn back the clock on women’s freedoms and eliminate abortion access. Now, with the Supreme Court expected to overturn Roe any day, the DCCC launched a week-long billboard campaign to ensure Ohio voters know what is at stake should Chabot stay in power.

Despite overwhelming public support for safe, legal abortion, Chabot has an extensive anti-choice record, including:

• Signing multiple briefs urging the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade

• Voting against codifying Roe v. Wade into federal law

• Touting endorsements from extreme anti-choice organizations

• Sponsoring a bill effectively banning abortion, some forms of birth control, and IVF

• Sponsoring a bill that criminalized abortion after six weeks with no exceptions for rape or incest

Republicans like Chabot are responsible for these attacks against the right to plan and have a family on a person’s own terms.
