DCCC Launches Billboard Campaign Targeting Juan Ciscomani Over His Cruel Cuts to Food Assistance

DCCC mobile billboard calls out Ciscomani for taking food off the plates of Arizonans

Today, the DCCC is launching a new mobile billboard campaign holding Juan Ciscomani accountable for his cruel cuts to food aid that has led to nearly 500,000 Arizonans – half of all SNAP recipients in the state – losing critical nutrition assistance as rising grocery costs continue to be a driving source of the affordability challenges facing everyday Americans.

Ciscomani says he was “proud” to vote for the Big, Ugly Bill, which included a cut of $187 billion to nutrition assistance.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Arizonans are struggling to keep up with sky-high grocery costs because of Ciscomani’s broken promises, and the DCCC is holding him accountable for his betrayal. Instead of helping folks back home feed their families, Ciscomani decided to make massive cuts to nutrition assistance and take food off the table of millions of hardworking families – just so he could pay for tax breaks for his billionaire backers.”
