| The DCCC is announcing a digital ad campaign in California’s 22nd Congressional District. The digital ad targets David Valadao for his reckless policies driving up costs and hurting the Central Valley’s agricultural economy despite representing the region that produces a quarter of the nation’s food.
From voting to protect price-spiking tariffs hurting Valley agriculture, to his support for the Iran war surging shipping, fuel and fertilizer costs, Valley farmers, farmworkers, and growers across the Valley – particularly Latino farmers – are saying that his “local dairy farmer” brand falls flat amidst the pain they are feeling.
The ad is the DCCC’s second digital ad of the general election that will reach targeted voters on Meta and is specific to Latino voters across CA-22. The ad is backed by an initial five-figure ad buy and will run for two full weeks.
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“David Valadao has turned his back on farmers, growers, ranchers, and farmworkers to side with Donald Trump and his party in D.C. Randy Villegas is the only candidate who will actually fight for the workers, families, and agricultural economy that power the Valley. Voters are ready to turn the page on Valadao’s empty rhetoric and failed record.”
