DCCC Launches Digital Ads Highlighting Frontline Members’ Votes to Lower Costs of Prescription Drugs and Health Care

Ads in Swing Districts to Highlight Democrats’ Taking on Drug Companies to Make Health Care More Affordable for Hardworking Families

Following Democrats’ vote last night to lower the costs of prescription drugs and health care for hardworking Americans, the DCCC launched a targeted advertising campaign on Facebook highlighting Frontline Members’ work.

The bill package Democrats voted for included measures to lower the costs of prescription drugs by taking on predatory companies, help states lower the costs of coverage on their own marketplaces, and crack down on junk plans that discriminate against people with preexisting conditions and rip off hardworking families.

“The American people have spoken loud and clear that they want Congress to get to work to take on the special interests like pharmaceutical companies to lower the costs of prescription drugs and health care, and that’s just what our Frontline Members are doing,” said DCCC Spokesperson Cole Leiter. “Frontline Democrats have been tireless fighters on behalf of Americans with preexisting conditions and families facing skyrocketing prescription drug and medical bills, and the DCCC is proud to highlight their work.”
