Today, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is releasing a digital video reminding voters in Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District of Scott Perry’s dangerous extremism and the chaos he creates in Congress. In June, at the request of Donald Trump, Speaker Mike Johnson appointed Perry to the House Intel Committee despite being actively under investigation from the FBI for his deep involvement in the effort to overturn the 2020 election.
The initial reporting led to multiple calls from both Republicans and Democrats for Perry to be removed from the committee. Perry has repeatedly demonstrated that he cannot be trusted with overseeing the U.S. intelligence community and sensitive government materials after spreading wild conspiracy theories and fomenting violence in the lead up to the Jan. 6 insurrection.

From now until Election Day, the DCCC will continue to hold Scott Perry accountable for putting loyalty to a political party over his constituents and remind voters in Pennsylvania’s 10th District of his extreme record.
