The DCCC is launching The Field Margin, our earliest-ever battlefield wide direct voter contact program focused on arming everyday volunteers with the skills necessary to help mobilize voters across the country.
The Field Margin will center its efforts on training sessions to coach volunteers on best practices, from door knocking and building a strong volunteer program to phone banking and digital organizing. The program will also include a first-of-its-kind training dedicated to rural organizing.
The launch comes six months out from Election Day as voters are eager to get to work to hold Republicans accountable for their cost-raising, health care-slashing agenda hurting working Americans.
REMINDER: Already this year, the DCCC has made historic investments in voter engagement, from reaching out to AANHPI, Black, Latino, and rural communities with Our Power, Our Country to launching our Engagement On the Road tour to meet directly with constituency voters on the ground in battleground districts.
DCCC National Organizing Director John Mahon:
“The road to the House majority is paved by our ability to mobilize voters across the country, and building that foundation starts with our dedicated volunteers. Voters on the ground feel the same momentum we do, and The Field Margin will be instrumental in equipping them with the critical resources needed to engage voters across the country and flip the House majority.”
