DCCC Launches “GOPVotedToDefault.Com,” Highlighting Painful Impacts of Juan Ciscomani’s Extreme ‘Default on America Act’

Arizonans will see what critical programs that Juan Ciscomani voted to cut

On Thursday, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee launched www.GOPVotedToDefault.com, a new microsite highlighting the extreme and painful spending cuts Juan Ciscomani voted for as part of their ‘Default on America Act.’

Ciscomani sided with extremists to hold our economy hostage and enact cruel cuts to programs that keep Americans safe, secure, and healthy. On top of the dangerous cuts, the ‘Default on America Act’ would trigger a job-killing recession, gut Americans’ hard-earned retirement savings, and increase unemployment.

The new microsite allows Arizonans to explore how Juan Ciscomani’s vote would negatively affect their family and community.

Over the next 17 months, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee will continue to hold Juan Ciscomani accountable to ensure Arizonans know Ciscomani’s false promises at home do not match his actions on Capitol Hill.

DCCC spokesperson Jacob Haythorn:
“When Juan Ciscomani sided with the extremes of his party and voted for the ‘Default on America Act,’ he sold out hard-working families in Arizona and pushed our economy closer to a job-killing recession. Arizonans will hold Juan Ciscomani accountable for these disastrous cuts to programs veterans and seniors depend on, and the shameless mistruths he has been telling his constituents.”
