New billboards will be placed in five competitive House districts using Republicans’ own words celebrating SCOTUS’ decision to rip away abortion rights
This coming week, the DCCC is launching mobile billboards in five competitive House districts targeting vulnerable Republicans who celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade, paving the way for states and the federal government to enact draconian abortion restrictions.
Using their own words, the five-figure buy – which will run during the week of the two-year anniversary of the Dobbs decision – targets five extreme politicians who endorsed the U.S. Supreme Court’s dangerous decision to eliminate women’s reproductive freedom nationwide.
These mobile billboards will appear across the battlefield in the following congressional districts:
Michelle Steel (CA-45) who said she “agree[d] with their… decision.”
Nick LaLota (NY-01) who called the overturning of Roe “a step in the right direction.”
Brandon Williams (NY-22) who called the overturning of Roe “a monumental victory.”
Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05) who said she was “encouraged to see the Supreme Court overturn Roe v. Wade.”
Scott Perry (PA-10) who called the overturning of Roe “a monumental victory.”
DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“House Republicans will stop at nothing to ban abortion and restrict reproductive rights nationwide. Over the next five months, we will ensure the American public does not forget that it was House Republicans who praised Donald Trump’s Supreme Court for ending reproductive freedom as we know it. The DCCC will continue to hold vulnerable House Republicans accountable for their shameless, extreme attacks against fundamental rights and freedoms.”
